Essence Express Dry Drops

Essence Nail Art Express Dry Drops promises to help dry nail polishes in seconds with just a couple of drops.

The pipette is easy to control. The formula feels like a light oil and glides quickly over the nail surface. The oiliness can feel a bit messy on the skin but it wipes off easily with some tissue. A traditional brush offers much better control in that respect.

The Express Dry Drops still fall short of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat and Dior Top Coat in terms of the drying time. After five minutes, my nails felt dry but pressing gently on the surface still leaves a faint fingerprint that can be smoothed out by rubbing it in one direction. It takes about 10-15 minutes to set to a budgeproof finish. Applied over Dior #742 Jamaican Pepper, the Express Dry Drops add a decent amount of shine.

As with many Essence products, it does have some flaws but it's so affordable that one need not feel bad about shelling out a couple of euros just for the novelty factor alone.
